Review:
This is without a doubt my favourite mascara of all time! It does everything I want from a mascara - lengthens, smudge free & curls! The one reviewed in the video is the long & curl mascara from Heroine Make Kiss Me, but I also have and love the volume & curl, and as mentioned in the video, I often use one coat of each to give me both the perfect volume & length. BUT, the most important thing about this mascara is that it holds my curls without leaving any smudges under my eyes for the WHOLE day! I have the most stubborn lashes that often refuses to stay curled - and I have tried a plathorea if waterproof mascaras. I've found that Asian mascaras are the best at keeping my lashes curled, however, many still leaves me with a smudge under the corner of my lower lashes - even though I never put mascara on my lower lashes - I wear contacts and have very watery eyes so I'm very cautious about putting mascara on my lower lashes. The Heroine Make Kiss Me Mascaras are the only ones that doesn't leave a smudge there most of the time.
The only negative I can think of with this mascara (and most Asian brand mascaras) is that it stays put a bit too much. They don't budge at all, and this means removing them fully can be a pain, and if not removed properly, can lead to a build up to mascara on your lashes. I've found a couple of mascara removers that seem to work on Asian brand mascaras (and I suspect all eye makeup removers from asian brands will do a brilliant job at removing these mascaras), and they are the Laneige waterproof eyes & lips, and also Heroine Make Kiss Me eye makeup remover wand and/or liquid.
I am trying other Asian Brand mascaras such as Majolica Majorca & will be reviewing these in due course, but I suspect there will be a lot of comparisons to this one!
