As someone who loves the Origins Plantscription range (yes, I know I'm using Laneige at the moment, give me a chance to finish that and I'll be back to Origins as it's easier to get hold of in the UK!), I'm looking forward to this foundation!
Origins Plantscription range centres around its' main ingredient 'Anogeissus' - which is derived from the leaves and bark of the Anogeissus tree and used as a natural wound healer and antimicrobial agent.
This foundation is fortified with Anogeissus, this age-defying formulation helps to visibly correct the appearance of lines and wrinkles both immediately and over time. This oil-free liquid foundation floats onto skin and blends easily, providing lightweight hydration and leaving skin appearing smooth, perfected and more youthful-looking with a naturally radiant finish. Soft-focus optics help mask visible pores and conceal imperfections without caking or settling into creases. This long-wearing formulation offers long-term anti-aging benefits along with valuable SPF 15 protection.
It is available in twelve shades and provides medium buildable coverage and remain color true - something that I would love if its true....don't you just hate it when you think you've found the perfect shade then it oxidises making you look a bit too bronzed for your body or worse....look orange!
The foundation will be avalible in Stores in August 2012.

I know I've got a lip sync problem with this video but for the life of me I can't figure how to sort it out! If any of you know how I can edit this then let me know!
They are an innovative luxury skincare range that uses Red Light Therapy (RLT), a natural and safe skin treatment proven to clear spots fast. LMS Spotlights use a very specific light wavelength combined with a proven power level and treatment time. This ensures delivery of the optimum level of light (Joules/cm2) to the skin, proven to improve our skins natural healing abilities. Red Light Therapy (RLT) is the application of red light to the skin, originally developed for NASA. It is a safe, natural wavelength used in skin treatment that is clinically proven and medically tested to treat mild to moderate acne and spots.
When cells are stressed (for example by a spot) Nitric Oxide levels increase which inhibits the cell's energy manufacturing process affecting the skin’s natural ability to heal itself. The primary effect of the RLT in LMS Spotlights is to penetrate the skin cells to force out Nitric Oxide and stimulate anti-oxidants. This has been shown to reduce cellular stress and increase cellular energy (ATP) leading to improved healing and repair of the skin in a wide range of medical conditions including spots and acne.
LMS Spotlights start working from the first treatment. They increase the body's natural healing process to clear spots twice as fast. Users of LMS Spotlights find that spots can clear in as little as 24 hours.

Directions:
Soak a cottonpad with the solution.
Gently cleanse the face and eyes. Repeat until the cottonpad is clean. Dry by
swabing gently.
I would reccommend this for people with all skin types, but especially for those with sensitive skin. It removes even make up easily and does not leave any
residue on the skin, nor does it leave the skin dry or strip the skin of moisture. After using, I usually find that my skin still feels moisturised. I does remove heavy makeup - just means more has to be used, however, another type of cleanser is required to remove waterproof makeup. A little bit goes a
long way, so the 500ml bottle would easily last me 4-5 months.
I'm not sure if there is an official UK site you can buy this cleanser, however, I know it is sold on Amazon and Ebay for around 20GBP......But use caution when buying from these sites!

I had been looking forward to this foundation since I first heard about it ages ago - being a Touche Eclat Pen fan for as long as I can remember, hearing about its foundation version is super exciting.
What YSL has to say about this foundation:
"Harnessing the brand’s signature flaw-fixing technology, Le Teint Touche Éclat is packed with light-reflecting pigments to diffuse dark shadows.
An instant illuminator, the weightless fluid glides onto skin to provide medium, buildable coverage, although if you’re blighted by blemishes or dark spots, you might have to follow up with a concealer to fully disguise flaws.
Void of the foundation faux-pas placed in other products, instead of opaque powders and mother-of-pearl extract – usually used to mattify skin and boost luminosity respectively – the brand has laced Le Teint Touche Éclat which golden pigments and a soft focus gel designed to smooth skin."
This foundation is priced at £28 - which is cheaper than all their other foundations, and comes with a pump dispenser. The pump alone makes me happy as I've never been a fan of their brushes that comes attached to their other foundations.
I was lucky enough to get a weeks sample from Debenhams having been colour corrected by the assistant their to be BD50 - this matched me perfectly as I'm between NC25 and NC30 at the moment. Although as mentioned in the video I would have loved to love this foundation, to me its only ok. It is described as a medium coverage that is buildable but I found it more to be a light coverage and building too much leads to oiliness and caking. The lasting power is around 3 hours...pushing it maybe 4 hours but I was very sleek looking by then, and blotting using blotting sheets, I noticed it transfered really easy.
PROS include when freshly applied, I looked amazing, really natural, fresh and glowing - I really liked how it made me look. It feels really light like water when applying and has a nice cucumber scent simialr to the Clarins foundations scent. I would definately wear this when I'm not out for a full day as its really natural, but I unfortuately can't recommend it to someone who needs it on for a full working day unless they are willing to reapply.
I doubt it's suitable for anyone with really oily skin as I have combination/oily and I found that with my skin type my oils came through easily come the 3 hour mark, even after using primer and powder. But will look amazing on someone with normal/dry skin.
Like I said, it looks amazing when I freshly apply it and loves how it makes me look but because of the lasting power, I'm debating whether its worth buying the full size foundation as I will only be able to wear it for a few hours unless I want to take it with me to reapply!
What I forgot to mention in the video/Update:
Also important to know, is that this foundation does oxidise/gradually get slightly darker - bareing in mind I have oily/combo skin and this may be the cause of it, but I saw a noticable difference in shade during the day, so you may want to sample a lighter colour for a better match!
I also managed to try this foundation out using a Fixing spray (both Skindanavia & Collection 2000), and I found that although it did make the foundation stay put, I still looked super oily at the end of a not so long day - again just wanted to get this information out so you can make a more informed choice on whether this foundation is for you!
Le Teint Touche Éclat is available in 22 shades and launches exclusively at Selfridges and Brown Thomas on June 28 before hitting beauty counters nationwide on July 9.
Let me know what you think and whether you think it's worth me buying!
So, firstly, how Rimmel describes Kate's lipstick collection:
"With a selection of fashion-forward shades to choose from in a signature pack. The Lipstick Collection is a true chic treat, a must have for every Rimmel London Lover. With a breakthrough formula featuring the black diamond pigment complex, the lipstick reflects like never before creating gorgeous tones that make you look, and then look again. Kate’s collection captures the flair, edge and timelessness of her unique look. With 7 shades get ready to fall in love with your favourite!"
I absolutely love this lipstick - and this is coming from a person who doesn't wear lipstick very often as they really dry my lip out not matter which ones I use....including the so called 'balm' ones! First of all, I wear Too Faced lip insurance under this as with all lipsticks I wear, but this Kate Lasting Finish one is definately the longest lasting one I've used. Don't get me wrong, re-application is required throughout the day but only touch ups and not full blown re-application. They are very pigmented and I think it is this that helps the longevity of the lipstick as well. Just to give a rough estimate, these lasted a good 5-ish hours before a good touch up was needed, but I guess it depends on whether you use a lip primer and how much you eat and drink! - And yes, they do transfer, but I find that even after a few transfers i.e. onto a cup, glass etc. the colour intensity is still there!
I have this in 001 which is a true red colour and amazing for nights and even day (if you dare) wear. I also have this in 004 which is a deep purple colour which looks amazing when I go for my moody dark makeup look. But bare in mind, I'm basing the 'long lasting' effect on two deep colours and the lighter shades may not last as long as you'd like....I'm thinking of getting some lighter pinky & nude shades from this range so I'll update this post when & if I have to!
The left is 004 & right is 001.....photo does not do them justice!
There are about 16 shades and costs 5.49GBP and for your information, I'm thinking of getting 016 which is a light pink shade and 026 which is a nude-ish shade next! Maybe I'll wait for the 3 for 2 offers that come round pretty frequently in either Boots or Superdrugs!
