So, I've used this BB Cream for about 2 years now, and nowadays, it's the one I tend to reach for in the winter because of its hydrating effect.  When using this BB Cream, my skin feels moisturised but not too oily throughout the day (though I do powder in the morning, and use blotting sheets during the day).  This BB Cream gives a medium to buildable full coverage without feeling too heavy on the skin.  Those that has dark discolouration around the eyes will probably require an additional concealer, however, those with light discolouration or hyperpigmentation will probably get away without additional concealer.

I have oily/combination skin, and have never broken out due to this BB cream, I always recommend cleansing thoroughly in the evenings!  In general, this BB cream is recommended for those with dry and/or problem skin, but like I said, I tend to use it in the winter and have definately benefited from it!

Things you'll need to be aware of is that it does have a grey cast, however, this does do after about half an hour or so depending on your skin type I guess, and it does oxidise slightly but now heavily so.  So for the shade that this BB Cream gives, standalone, it is suitable for anyone NC-15-20 and lower.  For those that require a darker shade, I would suggest colour correcting it with foundation, which is what I do as on my palest days, I'm NC-25 at best.

Most importantly is that it has an SPF of 28 which is suitable for both summer and especially winter when we tend to forget we still need sunscreen!

Straight out of the tube, the colour can be a bit deceiving, as it looks darker than it actually will be.

Slight blending, a grey cast can be seen and looks alot paler than previous photo, but feels very fresh and moisturising!
Medium to buildable full coverage with a light feel.

As for he science behind this BB Cream, it's best if I leave that to BRTC to explain (taken from http://www.brtcstore.com/brtc/aqua-bb-cream-spf-30):

"This unique formula releases moisture drops to provide ample hydration and help relieve skin sensitiveness for a more vibrant and flawless makeup look, added SPF28/PA**."

It has natural hydrating and moisturising properties, includes anti-oxidant and anti-aging ingredients, and has mineral & nutrition supply made from deep ocean water and 7 flower extracts.

Price:  Approx. 23.00GBP
